A Chinese factory that stored 41 and a half tons of dangerous chemicals in Thailand was prosecuted

According to Thai PBS news, a Chinese-owned factory that stored 41 and a half tons of dangerous chemicals in the Prairie district of eastern Thailand has been prosecuted.

After receiving a report that dangerous chemicals are being stored in the area, officials from Thailand's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and local police officers visited the industrial zone at Primary School District, Sri Maha Po Hit Township, Sri Maha Pohit Ward in last October 3.


According to the inspection, three illegal factories were found in the industrial zone owned by Chinese citizens. The factory was opened without permission. Among them, the factory of Nai Jiang Kotong (46 years old) is a health hazard Belyrian at magnitude 3; Cenilium and a total weight of 41.5 tons of chemicals such as telonium was seized.


If these chemicals come into contact with rain water, they react and produce ammonia. If you inhale it, you will suffer from dizziness and headache, and it will also cause cancer cells.


A resource conservation official said that the factory was ordered to close because illegal hazardous chemicals were found in the factory before, but it continues to operate without recognition.
